This policy explains what information is collected when you use the Yeah Nah, Never website (“the site”), and how it is used. The site is run from Australia and aims to follow the Australian Privacy Principles.

The short version

You don’t need an account, and we never ask for your name, email or any other personal details to play.
Nothing you do in the game (which cards you see or how many drinks you take) is sent to us.
The site shows ads, and our advertising partners may use cookies to show and measure those ads.

Information stored on your device

The site saves two small settings in your own browser so the game works smoothly: the last deck you chose, and that you confirmed you are 18 or over (this one is cleared when you close the tab). These stay on your device. We can’t see them, and you can clear them at any time through your browser settings.

Advertising and cookies

The site is free because it shows ads. We use, or may use, Google AdSense to display them. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, to limit how often you see an ad, and to measure how ads perform.

Hosting and basic logs

The site is hosted by Netlify. Like most web hosts, Netlify may automatically record basic technical information when a page loads, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the visit, to keep the site secure and running. We do not use this to identify you.

Adults only

This site is a drinking game intended only for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please leave the site.

Drink responsibly

Play for fun, know your limits, and never drink and drive. No one has to drink to play, and water counts. If alcohol is causing problems for you or someone you know, call the National Alcohol and Other Drug Hotline on 1800 250 015 (free and confidential, 24/7).
